Autumn Threshold

October 9 - 11, 2026

Autumn Threshold is a small, intimate gathering for women navigating the transitions of midlife.

We’ll step away from the demands of everyday life, slow down, and spend time in quiet reflection, meaningful conversation, and connection with the land. Through shared meals, time alone in nature, gentle writing prompts, self-designed ceremony, and simple circle practice, we'll meet the present tense: honor what is ending, welcome what is emerging, and remember that the deepest guidance rarely comes from outside ourselves.

In order to keep things simple for participants, homemade organic meals are served each day, and snacks, coffee and tea are provided. Lodging options include two campsites, four GreenHouse rooms, and the Tiny Cottage. The GreenHouse sauna is available to all participants throughout the gathering.

Space is limited to seven women.

The guide’s role is to create a thoughtful container with simple facilitation; the real work belongs to each woman and to the wisdom she carries within.

Your host & guide, Kika, does not love bios — but if you’re wondering what influences have shaped her as a guide, here they are: Land stewardship. Single motherhood. Rites of passage work. Biodynamic craniosacral therapy. Dharma and yoga study & practice. Permaculture. Nonprofit work, especially with teens, who know all about thresholds. Systems thinking. Activism. Punk. Deep friendships with other wise women. Fifty plus years of living during this time of planetary crisis, change, and opportunity.

Thanks for trusting me to share in the journey with you.
